App in 24 hours! I gotta get off my ass one of these days
This morning I came across this article in via Google Reader. It’s about a guy who built and deployed an app in 24 hours. Wow, this guy is really kicking out the jams! Thankfully this is 24 total hours and not a 24 hour period… cause that’s just crazy. He was able to accomplish this using Ruby on Rails and subversion (like all good girls/boys people should). Finally someone answered my ‘double space’ question
One day while cleaning up some copy for a customer I noticed that only a single space was used after each period. This confused me as I was taught you should always have a double space after that damn period. For quite some time friends and I have wondered and debated when this unannounced writing habit would have changed… and if it had really changed at all, maybe it was just a ‘web’ thing.
