Rails 2.0 Migrations
Yesterday I gave a small presentation on migrations in Rails 2.0 for the Chicago Ruby group. It went fairly well I think. Not being the most in depth presentation… I hope that someone got something out of it. I think that the new Rake tasks were a little more interesting for the group to learn about than the actual migrations. Free online Ruby course
I stumbled across this site the other day… well actually a long time ago, but just the other day I found it again because of a link for a free online ruby course.  Figured ‘what the hell’ I’ve got nothing to lose.  So it starts in the second week of January right before I start my other ‘brick and mortar’ courses.  We will have to see how that goes.  I am excited though.  It is nice to see that he has a defined course outline and suggested timeline for getting things done.  In the past I have taken an online course but it didn’t...
