Out with the old, in with the new
Today marked my last day at Follett Software. Come monday morning I will be a new employee of Tukaiz, a print and interactive solutions company. I’ve been recruited for a newish team that develops with Ruby on Rails, so that’s pretty cool. It was a very hard decision to make because I have a family to take care of now. This was truely the first really hard decision I’ve had to make as an adult. Had I still been single, I would have said “you’re gonna pay me to do something I enjoy?…. where do you want me to sign?”, but it’s a lot more than that now. I hate to say it but I actually accepted the new position and then turned it down and then finally accepted again. I’m sure the company probably is thinking that I’m some sort of loon at this point. Guess they’ll find out on monday ;-)
