Freshbooks - A long strange trip

You’ve got to hand it to ingenious moves few companies make.  Now I don’t know if this ’stunt’ is going to make you think anything more or less about Freshbooks, but it’s sure to get some publicity.  If you’re confused at this point it is because I have not told you that the Freshbooks crew (hailing from way up yonder, Canada) is going to trek from Miami to Austin in an RV in time for SXSW.

Here are some of their goals to make while on this long strange trip:

  • Meet as many users as we can, introduce the “south” to FreshBooks and what we offer
  • eat a Texas-sized donut
  • eat a country fried steak
  • get interviewed by a small town “morning show”
  • pick up a hitchhiker
  • and of course, we want to be elected POTUS.

I wish this crew the best of luck and safest trip!  Wish I could make the trek along side you!
