This book offers a great ‘introduction’ to Ruby as a fun, powerful language. Now I would say that as a Ruby user, I’m not quite advanced but not really a beginner. I would have to say that this book is definitely catered to someone very new to the Ruby world. Get rockin’ icons for your Prism applications

Not being the most in depth presentation… I hope that someone got something out of it. I think that the new Rake tasks were a little more interesting for the group to learn about than the actual migrations. Here is the slideshow ( I really suck at Powerpoint) and I’m sure it will also be available at the Chicago Ruby downloads page. Update: You can now view the slideshow here, courtesy of Scribd’s own ‘iPaper’.
